Who We Are
High Sierra Equestrian Center has been breeding and showing high quality Quarter Horses for the last 40 years. Getting out of the breeding and showing business, we have switched our services to being a boarding facility where Ferris students and other boarders can bring their horses for high quality care at a convenient price.
We are a family run business that is 100% committed to the care of both our horses and our boarders. I, Terri Strohkirch, am the owner of High Sierra Equestrian Center and run the farm with the help of my son Joe and his family. Joe, his wife Julie, and their two sons JJ and Jake live on the property to keep an eye on things when I’m not around the farm.
We pride ourselves on the quality care we provide for horses as well as giving owners an environment where they feel safe and comfortable to expand thier bond with their horse.
